Job Description:

Ferguson, North America’s leading distributor, seeks a Counter Sales Representative to join their team. The company specializes in residential, non-residential, and repair markets, offering extensive product portfolios and value-added solutions. The position involves advising customers, processing orders, and ensuring a safe and efficient store environment.

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on product selection to meet their needs.
• Process orders using the order management system.
• Operate cash registers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Prepare and organize orders for customer pickup.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
• Restock merchandise and ensure proper placement.
• Ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• May perform backup driver duties and responsibilities.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am-5pm

Pay: Starting at $22 per hour or higher based on experience

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid state-issued license required.
• Possession of a DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing or HVAC products preferred.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Proficiency in general math for cash accounting.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn.
