F5, Inc. seeks Sr Test Engineer in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Contribute user stories to automated test development backlog using existing manual test scripts, project requirements, support tickets and on request from TS technical staff. Develop, schedule, and implement automated test cases as prioritized using team-selected tools. Build and maintain the test automation framework as per the product needs that supports integration, scheduled regression and on-request execution of test. Participate in the planning for the develop the tools/systems needed to make test automation execution and reporting accessible to TS staff. Provide testing support to projects and product releases both with automated test, and manual testing as required. Work closely with developers, analysts, and system administrators as Test Engineering SME to model and foster the implantation of TS Test Engineering into projects and production support. Coordinate with the vendors who provide/support various testing resources and services. Report findings, log defects and ensure an appropriate disposition for each. Maintain test automation applications (sustaining engineering). Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent)  in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering, or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline and or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Azure DevOps (2 years); (2) Python; (3) Javascript/Typescript; (4) NoSQL (2 years); (5) Selenium; (6) Test automation frameworks; (7) Oracle; (8) Azure Cloud; (9) Cucumber; (10) C#. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
