Warehouse Supervisor

 This position is located in our Yadkinville, NC Facility

Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for organizing the receipt, storage and dispatch of warehoused goods. Responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, the warehouse supervisor manages people, processes and systems, to ensure goods are received and dispatched / deployed appropriately and productivity targets are met.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations to achieve productivity, costs, quality and safety goals


• Analyze data and prioritize work assignments to direct the daily plan of action for the shift or functional     area


• Coach, motivate, develop and manage warehouse associates


• Manage value-added projects assigned to shift


• Foster a participative and goal-driven work environment characterized by teamwork, partnership and accountability for achieving goals


• Ensure inventory control systems are up to date and make sure inventories are accurate


• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis


• General housekeeping and specific sanitation task are also required.


• Responsible for reporting all food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.


• Enforces plant GMP’s and Food Safety policies/procedures


• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills, Education:

• 3-5 Years of Supervisory Experience in Related Field Required


• High School Diploma or GED Required


• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred


• Knowledge of Warehouse Information Systems Required


• Basic Computer Software Skills Required


• Forklift License Certification Required


• Reading/Math Comprehension Abilities


• Good Communication Skills, Both Oral & Written


• Attention to Detail & Capability to Work Independently


• Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly by using data to analyze root cause


• Decision Making Abilities and Handling of Multiple Priorities


• Ability to be Entrusted with Confidential Information and Materials
