Are you looking for a leadership opportunity that supports Goodwill’s mission and vision for the community? Goodwill of the Heartland is looking for a Lead Career Services Advisor in Davenport.
The position will be responsible for providing services in the career center in Davenport, which is open 20 hours per week and will also oversee several other regional part-time Career Services Advisors who provide virtual and in-person career services as well. The primary objective of the career centers is to assist participants (people who come to Goodwill for employment support) to identify their training and career goals and assist them to them to meet these goals. This includes participant skill assessment, proctoring exams, in-person instruction, business development, and partnering with Career Navigators at Goodwill to coordinate referral and other support needs. This position is responsible for the development and training of new and current team members and providing these services for the Davenport career center.
Qualifications:
The Lead Career Services Advisor has a starting pay range between $19.86 and $21.85. The schedule will be 40 hours per week and the hours will typically be Monday-Friday 9:00AM – 5:30PM.
