Reporting to the Mechanical/Quality Services manager, this position is responsible for mechanical inspection reporting to customers, management of materials for all work, and the scheduling of outsourced repairs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and order all parts and supplies for individual jobs on an as needed basis
• Maintain and order inventory for stock items in the mechanical shop
• Work with the Quality manager to ensure inspection reports are complete and accurate
• Responsible for all quoting of jobs to customers and sales engineers
• Provide updates and reports to the Mechanical/Quality manager regarding problems and issues
• Complete outgoing reports for plain/press roll and suction rolls
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 5-8 years in a manufacturing environment, preferable in the paper industry
• Languages: English
• Must have proven supervisory and leadership abilities
• Must be an excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with mechanical and machine repairs is desired
• Requires knowledge of computers with skills in Excel and Word
• Proficiency in Solidworks to create detailed drawings is a plus

Compensation Information - Salary max up to $63,000
