General Description

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) considering auto business and corporate goals. Responsible to produce business reports with a clear perspective and insights that support strategies, transformation initiatives and day to day decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main liaison between Management to address situations, recommendations, changes implementation, etc. In coordination with the department manager, establish project plans to resolve any deviation.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and support process improvement to identify operational efficiencies that will result in an increase in volume or cost reduction opportunities.
  • Create/develop/prepare and/or review special reports requested by Management, by other business units and/or by Division Manager.
  • Participate, lead and support management in the analysis of accounting processes for new initiatives, new products, new processes, changes in accounting policies, business acquisitions, new services and/or changes to existing process. Lead and/or participate in related meetings. Act as the Unit Representative in meetings.
  • Prepare and/or review Notes to Financial Statements
  • Provide support to Managers and Supervisors in the use of applications and/or systems tools, including their training and coaching.
  • Understands current business needs and develop strategies to provide solutions focused on achieving the established objectives.
  • Analyzes data using statistical methods to facilitate analysis and identification of process improvements solutions.
  • Convert data into visual stories using data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Timely communicate situations to the supervisor or manager.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by active participation in meetings with the operations/business/accounting departments. Prepare and distribute meetings minutes and action plans.
  • All other task assigned by the management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, Finance.

Experience

  • At least three years related experience in business analysis or project coordination. Two years of experience related in Accounting field is preferred.

Certifications / Licenses (Nice to have)

Business Analyst CertificationPMPMicrosoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Other Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Accounting for Leases
  • Knowledge of General Ledger complete accounting cycle, accounting entries, analysis of subsidiaries, assist in the preparation of financial and related reports.
  • Analytic abilities in order to evaluate financial information and synthesize complex and diverse data.
  • Able to integrate and apply accounting knowledge to the analysis of operational and financial processes.
  • Able to prioritize, anticipate situations, identify problems, analyze their causes and resolve them in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Be able to work with little or no supervision and with interdisciplinary groups. Have the ability to create and offer effective presentations to work groups; identify, understand and solve situations while applying concepts, analytic techniques and offer alternatives to solutions.
  • Able to lead and adapt to changes, learn new tasks and be able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Customer Centric: skills to maintain good relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, present alternatives to solve situations.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, both oral and written.
  • Advanced Systems Proficient. Skills in MS Windows (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point). SAP, S4H, etc.
