Works closely with the Receiving & Warehouse Supervisor to facilitate operations in receiving and warehouse areas. This role involves moving supplies, materials, and equipment within the plant, requiring strong organizational skills and effective communication. Familiarity with SAP system functions is essential.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify parts and materials, reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
Safely transport materials between receiving, warehouse, and manufacturing areas, ensuring accurate recording in the SAP Warehouse Management System.
Conduct yard inventory, dock audits, and cycle counts as directed.
Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, exercising caution when operating equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks, utilizing forklift and overhead crane when necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in operating standard computer and scanner equipment.
Ability to safely operate dock equipment, forklift, and pallet jacks.
Working knowledge of SAP System as it pertains to material movements.
