Job Description:

Works closely with the Receiving & Warehouse Supervisor to facilitate receiving and warehouse operations. This role involves moving supplies, materials, and equipment between receiving, warehouse, and manufacturing areas while ensuring adherence to safety policies and efficient communication.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor or lead person.
  • Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on material and equipment.
  • Monitor assigned Queue for requested material from production and report any discrepancies.
  • Check material for defective conditions and report to Supervisor or lead person.
  • Safely move material between the dock, warehouse, and manufacturing areas, recording all physical moves in the SAP Warehouse Management System.
  • Conduct yard inventory, dock audit, and/or cycle count as directed.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on material handling equipment.
  • Exercise caution and maintain alertness when operating fork-lift trucks to avoid injury or damage.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of trucks using forklift.
  • Operate overhead crane as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and work accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating standard computer and scanner equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate dock equipment, forklift, and pallet jacks.
  • Working knowledge of SAP System as it pertains to material movements.

  • Occasional lifting of 50 lbs.
  • Constant standing.
  • Frequent walking.
  • Occasional bending, climbing, and crawling.
  • Frequent reaching and grasping.
  • Occasional sitting and connecting.
  • Frequent pulling.
  • Vision corrected to 20/20.
  • Frequent handling of equipment and materials.
