The Run Tester role involves checking refrigeration units under actual operation against performance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Complete Refrigeration inspection training.
Read and comprehend Operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions.
Set up refrigeration units for operation and operate them until stabilized, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Set up testing equipment as necessary and perform predetermined checks such as compressor performance, high and low-pressure cutouts, dry bulb temperatures, and static pressures.
Check and test component parts and subassemblies according to OMS specifications.
Prepare required reports and tags, including rejection tags and check-off lists.
Determine causes for and report abnormal quality conditions.
Qualifications:
Completion of Refrigeration inspection training.
Ability to read and understand OMS job instructions.
Experience setting up and operating refrigeration units preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems.
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
