The Auto-Casing Setup Operator role involves setting up, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and making minor adjustments to machinery. This position also requires assisting with repairs as needed.
Responsibilities:
Read, understand, and communicate Operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions.
Prepare workstations and equipment for production, ensuring proper machine operation.
Troubleshoot machinery to identify and communicate problems to Maintenance and Tool and Die personnel.
Assist with machine repairs and adjustments.
Handle material to and from workstations.
Empty scrap into designated bins and ensure proper ejection of scrap from the production line.
Operate small presses and perform assembly work using air tools as necessary.
Maintain quality standards by performing first and last part inspections of produced parts against specifications.
Keep workstations organized and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of operational procedures and machine setup.
Ability to troubleshoot machinery and assist with repairs.
Experience with small presses and assembly work preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
