LOCATION: This is a hybrid position requiring that you be within 50 miles/1 hour commute of one of our Virginia offices. Virginia residency is required.

HOURS: General business hours, Monday through Friday.

TRAVEL: Travel is required to our various offices, as needed.

Responsible for facilitating a variety of performance-based learning events that may include, but are not limited to general associate, management, sales, clinical, technical and operations training. Training often focuses on more abstract, less concrete soft skills training meant to influence behavior and buy-in from others.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature.
  • Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and global environments.
  • Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet client needs.
  • Exercises classroom management including learner performance and escalates issues to Learning & Development and client leadership when necessary.
  • Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.
  • Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness.
  • Keeps technical skills updated.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • Requires BA/BS in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • A minimum of 4 years training experience is required.
  • 4 years of clinical experience or certification/license in the appropriate field may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with providers and caregivers within the Virginia Child Welfare system is a must!
  • Knowledge of Virginia state child welfare priorities and objectives is strongly preferred.
  • Experience providing training for Person Centered methods, Informed Consent, Trauma Informed Care, and Evidence Based Practice Models is preferred.
