Qualifications:
8+ years of strong leadership experience in heavy industrial manufacturing with a proven track record.
Proficiency in labor union relations, including participation in negotiation processes, is advantageous.

Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and manage change effectively.

Essential Duties
Cultivate a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and employee engagement by setting the example and adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
Create and sustain a positive work environment in alignment with the company's core values and Code of Business Conduct.
Strategically plan, coordinate, and direct all facets of safety, environmental compliance, quality control, production, delivery, and maintenance operations to achieve organizational objectives.
Develop and manage operational and capital budgets, closely monitoring production costs and operational expenditures while implementing cost-saving measures.
Lead the Operations team in personnel management, including recruitment, retention, training, and performance evaluation.
Oversee inventory management for raw materials and finished goods, and supervise operational capital projects.
Drive employee engagement in continuous improvement initiatives, challenging conventional practices, and embedding lean manufacturing principles.
Establish and refine policies and procedures pertinent to manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance and optimization.
Collaborate seamlessly across various support functions to maximize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement, with preference for an MS or MBA.
