Focus:
Lead efforts to optimize manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product quality standards and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols to ensure compliance and competency.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean manufacturing principles, conducting root cause analysis, and facilitating problem-solving initiatives.
Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes.
Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, equipment maintenance records, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an injection molding or extrusion environment, with hands-on experience in process optimization, equipment maintenance, or related roles.
Proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and familiarity with industrial machinery. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and objectives.
