The Sr. Desktop Support Specialist provides triage, diagnostic, and troubleshooting technical support services, related to business applications and operating systems, to ensure enterprise-wide networks and peripherals are functioning properly. This employee collaborates with project management, network services, and application development to identify requirements and resolutions to incidences.
Department Specific Functions
Respond to tech inquiries via email, through online chats, over the phone, or in person
Work with system administrator to provide customers with superior service
Support coaches and student athletes with technology issues
Assist NCAA, ACC, ESPN and other vendor personnel with technological integration with university systems.
Knowledge of GoFMX Facilities Management system is a plus.
Provide and remove access using CBORD and Onity access control platforms.
Assist with technology integrations at venues for the different sports.
Attend sporting events and provide support for technology issues that may arise.
Contribute to knowledgebase by well documenting solutions to incidents.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing:
A+
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience . Athletics experience is a plus.
Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.

The ability to work in a high energy environment.
