Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for developing and qualifying leads for Field Sales reps. The SDR will be responsible for developing and identifying potential customers, qualifying leads, and setting up appointments for the sales team.
The SDR will report to the North American Sales Director and may interface with Othram's sales team to work towards Othram's sales and revenue targets.
Responsibilities
Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
Contact and qualify potential customers
Set appointments and follow up on leads
Track progress towards meeting sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
Use customer relationship management (CRM) software or other to manage leads and sales activities
Attend networking events and tradeshows to build relationships and generate leads
Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or related experience in sales targeting law enforcement professionals
2+ years of sales experience with a track record of over achieving sales goals
Travel (up to 10%) will occasionally be required for sales calls/meetings
A goal oriented mentality with a drive to meet and exceed goals and objectives
Strong organizational skills and personal accountability
Strong listening skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams from diverse backgrounds
A self-starter with the ability to work independently while maintaining close contact with collaborators
Excellent telephone and written communication skills that drive customer response and continued engagement
Digital literacy on Microsoft office and Google Docs
