Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Work Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid - Onsite)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and workflows on the Azure Cloud platform using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to support data integration, transformation, and loading processes.
Develop and optimize data models, schemas, and databases on Azure SQL Database and other Azure data services to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
Implement data quality measures, validation rules, and data governance policies to maintain high data integrity and reliability throughout the data lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and data engineering workflows.
Implement and automate data integration processes between on-premises and cloud-based data sources using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Sync, or other relevant tools.
Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of Azure data services, data pipelines, and SQL queries to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Monitor data quality, system performance, and resource utilization metrics on Azure Cloud platforms and implement proactive measures to address issues and improve efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in Azure Cloud services, data engineering, and data quality management, and apply them to enhance our data engineering capabilities.
