Job Description:
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of recent experience in planning and overseeing agency-wide core business system replacement projects.
- PMI or PMP Project Management Certification.
- Proficiency in creating project management documents adhering to PMI PMBOK Standards and the EIS Stage Gate process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including artifacts for EIS Stage Gate endorsements.
- Prepare and manage project implementation plans, weekly status reports, and monthly reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors to coordinate implementation activities and ensure project milestones are met.
- Facilitate requirements discovery, functional design documentation, and system security planning.
- Design and execute prototype testing plans and user acceptance testing readiness reports.
- Develop data migration, knowledge transfer, and training plans, overseeing user training sessions.
- Coordinate project closure activities, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain project documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Effectively communicate with employees, stakeholders, and contractors, resolving issues and leading regular progress meetings.
- Provide direction and motivation to project teams to maximize performance.
- Lead projects from requirements through deployment, including scope, schedule, budget estimation, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project status and revise plans as needed according to established change control processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and changes.
