(CHIN) is seeking a talented BIM Specialist to work within a dynamic Project Controls group located in Dallas, TX. Responsible for essential BIM support from project initiation through to closure. Ranging from model assistance and advanced troubleshooting to the management and coordination of multiple project models.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
Review BIM files for consistency and accuracy, proposing model adjustments when necessary and coordinating with relevant team members for implementation.
Lead BIM coordination efforts among the entire project team from initiation through to closure.
Provide coaching and guidance to project team on BIM implementation and applications, via formal and informal sessions.
Engage with both internal teams and external clients to synchronize BIM modeling strategies, model exchanges, quality control measures, and delivery protocols.
Maintains and provides quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) reviews of BIM projects and other duties as required.
The BIM Coordinator will foster close working relationships with stakeholders, project managers and external providers, and design consultants, acting as a primary point of contact for project troubleshooting in Autodesk Revit and its complementary applications.
Assist the project team with model set-up and maintenance for all projects.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in a related construction, engineering, or technical discipline, or equivalent.
Must be able to pass security clearance requirements and background check.
Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices applied in planning, design, and construction of airport engineering.
Proven leadership and verbal/written communication skills.
Minimum three (2) years of BIM experience required.
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated hands-on experience on civil/aviation projects using Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil3D) design software for model based digital delivery.
Familiarity and working knowledge surrounding a variety of 3D Modeling, collaboration, construction management, and cloud-based applications.
Basic knowledge of and implementation of 3D (time and phasing.)
