Servomex, the world leader in gas analysis, is looking to expand our Quality Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our high performing team at our facility in Woburn, MA. The successful candidate will work closely with our Manufacturing and Engineering teams at our US Technical Center (USTC) to build quality through all of what we do. The Senior Quality Engineer will be an integral part of our passionate team, working hard to drive product and process improvements to help maintain our reputation as the experts in Gas Analysis.

We are searching for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our business and hit the ground running. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to make their mark on a business that's growing and strengthening. An extensive problem-solving tool kit is essential, as well as the ability to coach others through structured problem solving. We are seeking an individual who understands process control and can adapt a pragmatic approach when it comes to implementing it. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive manufacturing improvements by coaching manufacturing teams through problem solving activities
  • Assist operations and local quality functions in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality assurance key performance indicators
  • Maintain and drive Quality related KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Liaise with suppliers to address quality issues with purchased parts
  • Manage and drive a resolution system for customer complaints and reported quality issues, to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
  • Develop manufacturing process controls, identifying, where necessary, any improvements that are required
  • Facilitate and lead process and product improvement projects
  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards

Essential Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Solid and progressive experience within a Quality Engineer role in a related manufacturing industry/sector
  • Proven and demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience of New Product Introduction (NPI) within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated and substantial experience and knowledge of implementing process controls and supporting and complying with best practices
  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in an engineering/electronics/manufacturing discipline

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience and knowledge of Lean 6 sigma techniques
  • ISO9001 Quality Management / Auditing
  • Experience of working within an electronics environment
  • Experience in the facilitating of Lean events
  • Minitab
  • SAP
  • Lean Six Sigma Green / Black belt qualification/ Practitioner

Location: Woburn, MA (US Technical Center)

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday

Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 dependent on skill set, experience, expertise
