Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Product Manager to join a high-performing team and drive the development and commercialization of their medical device portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product management efforts from upstream conceptualization to downstream market launch and post-launch support, while also managing a team of product managers and collaborating closely with cross-functional R&D teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the product management lifecycle for electro-mechanical medical devices, from upstream concept development to downstream market launch and post-launch support.
  • Conduct upstream market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop product strategies and roadmaps in alignment with company goals and upstream market opportunities.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on upstream customer feedback, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with upstream engineering, design, and research teams to ensure timely and successful product development and commercialization.
  • Manage a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to execute upstream and downstream product development projects, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Develop and implement downstream go-to-market plans, including pricing strategies, sales collateral, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor downstream product performance and customer feedback post-launch, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to electro-mechanical medical devices across the entire upstream-downstream spectrum.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing electro-mechanical medical devices or similar complex products across both upstream and downstream phases.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, including design controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving results.
