This role entails providing therapeutic services, including clinical assessment and therapy for individuals and families affected by child abuse. Focus:
Conduct clinical assessments and provide therapy to children, adolescents, non-offending adults, and families dealing with child abuse issues.
Facilitate group therapy and interventions as needed for guardians and adolescents.
Maintain accurate and confidential client files in accordance with OBHL, center policies, and forensic standards.
Coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team, including law enforcement, CPS, medical staff, and forensic interviewers.
Participate in weekly supervision sessions to discuss cases, treatment goals, and intervention strategies.
Provide court testimony and represent the organization in public forums.
Engage in self-care and team-building activities within the center.
Skill Set:
Master's degree in counseling or social work.
Associate license with experience in child and trauma therapy.
Demonstrated ability to work with children facing complex trauma.
Effective collaborator with a passion for making a difference in the community.
Strong communication skills, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Knowledgeable in clinical diagnosis and evidence-based interventions.
