POSITION

We are seeking a Data Manager to join our ReGeneration Schools team. As the Data Manager, you will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes at various levels within the organization. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining student, faculty, and administrative data in accordance with network policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Management:
  • Collect, compile, and maintain accurate and up-to-date student, staff, and administrative data using appropriate systems and software.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and district policies.
  • Develop and implement data management procedures and protocols to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and support district goals and initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings and metrics for various stakeholders, including administrators, faculty, and school board members.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve academic performance, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness.
  • Database Administration:
  • Oversee the administration of databases and information systems used for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Maintain security protocols and access controls to protect sensitive information and ensure data privacy.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate with IT staff or external vendors for technical support and maintenance.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to district staff on data collection procedures, software applications, and data analysis techniques.
  • Serve as a resource for faculty and administrators seeking assistance with data-related inquiries or projects.
  • Foster a culture of data literacy and evidence-based decision-making throughout the district.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify data needs, priorities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with administrators, faculty, and external partners to ensure alignment and understanding of data-related initiatives and objectives.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities related to data management and educational technology.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, statistics, education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in data management, analysis, and reporting, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency with data management software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, SAS) and database systems (e.g., Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of educational data standards, regulations (e.g., FERPA), and best practices for data privacy and security.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of data management and educational technology.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $70,000-85,000. Compensation and benefits based on experience.
