The Program Manager is responsible to create, enhance and maintain a positive working relationship with key FORTNA customers with respect to all Lifecycle activities and services. The Program Manager is the main POC for the LPS organization and will act as a direct technical liaison to the assigned account. Such departments include: Project Management, Engineering, Parts, Service, Technical Support and System Sales. The Program Manager is responsible for creating long term plans (identifying, planning and executing) for the assigned customers MHE installed base. This includes ownership of all aftermarket sales efforts.


The Program Manager will be the central point of contact for communication between the customer and all aftermarket teams in addition, all related parties within the company including any sub-contractors who have been assigned to carry out activities.


The Program Manager will be responsible to develop long term planning (3-5 years) across multiple sites. The Program Manager will interface with corporate contacts and customer site level contacts.


The Program Manager will work closely with project managers to ensure projects are executed in a consistent manner. The Program Manager will be responsible to develop and enforce product and project standards.


Any issues that arise and require escalation will be directed through he Program Manager. The Program Manager will have dotted line report accountability to the systems account manager assigned to that given customer/account.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • The ability to work with other departments and subcontractors in an effective and productive manner.

  • The ability to effectively communicate with the customer.

  • The ability to oversee multiple projects at one time.

  • The ability to develop solutions to installation and other mechanical issues.

  • The ability to communicate and collaborate with others and other departments.

  • The ability to analyze progress and determine issues in the schedule in a timely manner.

  • The ability to generate technical long-term plans for a large diverse customer installed base.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities.

  • To be results focused.



QUALIFICATIONS:


• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, or Engineering Technology.


• 3+ years' experience with Automation or Material Handling.


• Experience managing multiple resources.


• Experience working with customers in planning and prioritizing.


• Experience in managing problems in high stress situations.


• Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments.
