Job Description:

Part Time Senior Advocate


Leading Medical organization in Santa Rosa, CA is adding a Part Time Senior Event Advocates to their team. The hours per week will vary. Most of the events are about 2-3 hours at a time in the local market area.

This role will assist with healthcare initiatives for programs and events that the Medical organization is putting together. You will either be supporting Medicare programs or roll outs or health care initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Assist and participate in special events:



Experience in sending out invites, collecting rsvps and excel sheet, creating namebadge, event coordinator (setting up, taking down, greeting). I have onsite events to plan (one in Sept and one a quarter (lunch or breakfast), creating invitations or purchasing, sending out email invitation. And several virtual events throughout year. One larger annual broker appreciation event. Etc.




Not mandatory but constant contact experience is helpful.

Bring supplies and materials for projects and activities; reserve needed buildings and equipment.
Attend regular staff meetings; maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other departments and outside agencies.
Experience engaging with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs: carry marketing material
Must be able to commute to the local events
Must be able to work on the computer


Pay is $21.00 an hour
