The Sage Group's client, a Cloud Software company, is seeking an E-Commerce Product Manager who is passionate, strategic, and customer-centric to join our Online Sales team, focusing on self-serve customers and how they can see the most value in the product.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned growth lead or product manager with experience launching new, customer-facing products for digital purchase. You've partnered closely with engineering, design, data science, and other cross-functional teams and know how to work in an agile environment. You know what it takes to bring a product to life, including presenting to senior leadership and working on cross-functional dependencies.
Responsibilities:
Own the strategy and execution for Growth and Monetization initiatives for SMBs, generating a thoughtful and cohesive approach to revenue growth while creating delightful user experiences across the customer lifecycle
Define, communicate and distill Growth vision across team and to cross-functional stakeholders
Lead Growth and Monetization roadmap creation and present quarterly to Product and Engineering leadership teams
Drive experimental excellence in all projects through data-informed decision making, MVP focused releases and A/B testing
Partner with the Retention Product Manager, Product Marketing, Designers, and Engineers to plan and execute roadmap projects, and support initiatives from conception to launch
Be the advocate for self-serve and SMB users' needs while balancing revenue growth
Own the strategy and execution for making all of the company's products available for digital purchase
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management
Experience Launching new Digital Products, Pricing, Packaging, Adoption, etc.
Demonstrated ability to execute successful Product projects that are creative, hypothesis-driven, and highly analytical
Passion for cross-functional collaboration and comfort in the spotlight of high-visibility initiatives
Highly proactive, self-starter capable of effectively managing several projects and prioritizing accordingly
Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to execute in an environment where things are not always crystal clear
Background in inspiring teams, managing complexity, driving operational excellence, and delivering world-class results
Experience working in scrum teams in an agile environment, leading agile release planning in terms of iterative, incremental & value-driven A/B tests
Contract length: 6 months, potential to extend and/or convert to FTE
Hybrid Role: On-site 1-2 times per week in either NYC or Redwood City, CA
$65-85 hourly, w-2 (DOE), medical benefits offered
