Job Description:

What you will do:
 

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and be a crucial part of the Facilities Management team. This role is based on-site at our production facility, where you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all production and facility equipment.

How you will do it:


  • Ensure optimal operation of plant equipment and systems to achieve production goals and maintain product quality.


  • Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and performance post-Preventive Maintenance (PM).


  • Uphold Clarios’ quality and standards, leading by example and enforcing policies.


  • Conduct safe and compliant maintenance activities, adhering to industry safety norms and regulations.


  • Monitor and report on maintenance progress, taking corrective action as necessary.


  • Lead the maintenance team with clear direction and support, fostering a cohesive work environment.


  • Drive continuous improvement through proactive business process enhancements.


  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless system operations across the plant.


  • Perform regular performance evaluations and manage discipline for direct reports when needed.


What we look for:

Required:


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.


  • At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting.


  • Strong proficiency in CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance & Prisma.


Preferred:


  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting.


  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.


  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with a track record of motivating team members.

We opened our facility in 1978 and now employ more than 500 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through food drives for Second Harvest Food Bank and toy drives for Brenner Children’s Hospital.
