Job Description Summary	The University of South Alabama’s department of Physiology and Cell Biology is seeking to hire a Research Technologist I. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

Performs a variety of research and laboratory procedures using independent judgment. Performs cell culture, genotyping, qPCR, western blot, immunostaining, animal work and human biological sample processing. Maintains laboratory in an orderly manner. Follows appropriate safety procedures. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. Related duties as required.
