Summary:

This position is responsible for the graphic design and execution of marketing, sales, and corporate communications materials primarily for our paid and owned external channels. Responsibilities include working with key internal stakeholders to design digital collateral (including video) for a variety of market segments and organizational goals across multiple brands. All materials and design must comply with brand requirements and fit into the larger brand strategies. The incumbent possesses technical knowledge and ability to produce quality projects on a timely basis.

Essential Accountabilities:

Level I

• Creates all social media graphics and animations - not only with strong adherence to brand guidelines, but with an eye for overall page aesthetic. Leverages and aligns Health Plan brand identity to marketing materials, messaging and strategies while helping to improve and strengthen overall graphic identity.

• Supports both paid and organic digital and multimedia efforts with design development, video capture, editing and animation. Concept and execute all digital creative - including display banners, native ads, responsive display, email imagery, social, infographics.

• Collaborates with Brand Team, Marketing Managers, and Agency Teams from brief to finished elements and files. Determines medium and conveys strategy and key insights tailored to the situation, audience and venue. Occasionally helps Digital Team with landing page design and development.

• Works closely with partner media agencies to understand media plan details and goals. Strong understanding of digital and mass media buys to promote consistency in messaging - integrating Brand and Line of Business.

• Develops multi-channel materials to communicate storytelling, critical messages, and key value propositions. Demonstrates a high level of independent creative development and production skill.

• Assists with monitoring and reviewing Corporate Compliance with the National BlueCross BlueShield service mark regulations and guidelines.

• Partners with internal Creative Resources Group to stay up to date with strategy, best practices, organizational work, and promote consistency.

• Drives continual improvement in creative quality and stays abreast on current trends, strategies and technologies.

• Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values and adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.

• Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.

• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.

• Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Level II (in addition to Level I Accountabilities)

• Works autonomously on strategic issues with internal clients and manage a variety of projects ranging from small pieces to complex multichannel campaigns.

• Educates internal audiences on strategy and execution of collateral.

• Designs and clearly articulates aesthetic direction for individual marketing campaigns and owned social channels.

• Identifies and tests new creative opportunities for advertising campaigns, push the envelope on assets currently being used.

Minimum Qualifications:

Level I:

• Four or more years of experience in a professional design/advertising field, or Associates degree in graphic design or related field with two or more years' experience in a design/advertising field.

• Working knowledge of design technologies such as Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as emerging options such as Canva, etc.

• HTML5 and basic coding skills required.

• Social channel and YouTube expertise a plus.

• Understanding of digital advertising goals, media planning, and creative nuances for social platforms.

• Outstanding creative skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with clients.

• Self-starter, detail oriented, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Level II - in addition to Level I minimum qualifications:

• Nine or more years of experience in a professional design/advertising field, or Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field with five or more years' experience in a design/advertising field.

• Thorough knowledge of digital media, advertising, and social platforms.

• Demonstrated website design/development experience.

• Extensive video production/execution background (specifically for online platforms).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a workstation and working on a computer.

• Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

Compensation Range(s):

Minimum $58,500 - Maximum $81,702

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
