Job Title: Communications Channel & Creative Media Specialist

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 (Hybrid work schedule with three mandatory in-office days: Tuesday, Wednesday and day of their choice.)

Duration: 12 Months

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-4pm 40 hours per week.

Job Summary
  • We are seeking a highly creative, collaborative, and dynamic Communications Channel & Creative Media Specialist to join our team.
  • In this role, the individual will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs that meet our internal clients' needs.
  • They will work under the supervision of the Creative Design & Brand Manager to deliver best-in-class work.
  • They will also be responsible for managing internal communication channels and the associated production work to ensure effective dissemination of information within the APN organization.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design, communication strategies, digital platforms, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Create informative and engaging visual content that adheres to all Client brand guidelines to be shared across internal and external channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders to create and manage presentations that are informative, engaging and visually appealing.
  • Manage various APN Communication internal channels, including but not limited to, intranet, email newsletters, video content, video signage, internal social channels, and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with different partner, stakeholder, and department groups, to gather relevant information and updates for communication materials.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication channels, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with Internal Communications team members to ensure alignment of internal messaging with organizational values and objectives.
  • Respond to feedback and inquiries from employees, fostering a culture of open communication.

Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Creative Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, preferably in a production role
  • Strong design, written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft clear and compelling messages and visuals.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent platform management and organizational skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Microsoft Office
  • A portfolio of work available for review.

Additional -
  • Most of work will be PowerPoint design.
  • May do booth design for trade shows.
  • Manager has flexibility for worker to start.
  • Online portfolios are a plus, if candidate has online portfolio please include in resume.
  • Must have adobe creative suite experience.
  • Candidate must have expert design experience in PowerPoint, as this is the may application worker would use. (Can be Microsoft, Google, Keynote) but must be open to PowerPoint Microsoft
  • Must be knowledgeable about PC environment and not just apple.
  • Candidates that have not attended an design school can still be considered long as they have experience and can speak too and show the experience.
