Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and analytical Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our portfolio management efforts through rigorous research, data analysis, and strategic insights. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to investment decision-making while working closely with experienced professionals in the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research and analysis of financial markets, industries, and individual securities to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
Evaluate the performance of existing investments and propose adjustments based on changing market conditions.
Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to communicate investment strategies and recommendations to clients.
Assist Advisors with the day to day management of their advisory practices.
Prepare portfolio analytics including performance reporting using excel, reporting software and proprietary technology.
Help advisors with portfolio asset allocation reviews.
Investment reviews including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, hedge funds.
Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to provide insightful recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
Level 1 CFA passed would be a plus
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and risk management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey investment concepts to clients and colleagues effectively.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools, Excel, and other relevant software.
Ethical conduct and adherence to regulatory guidelines within the finance industry.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in analysis and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
