Job Description:

The Field Specialist I, Advanced CIP position at Ricoh requires advanced technology skills to provide independent strategic analysis and consultative support for maintaining, repairing, and developing solutions for a diverse range of company products and services. The role involves technical troubleshooting, customer service, workload management, administrative tasks, and achieving productivity targets.


Responsibilities:


Technical:

  • Configuring, installing, troubleshooting, networking, and maintaining a variety of products and services.
  • Acting as a consultant/strategic professional to solve high-end product issues.
  • Leading others in technical problem-solving efforts and demonstrating leadership in complex situations.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to increase utilization of Ricoh equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Assembling/adjusting/maintaining products and equipment according to specifications.


Customer Services:

  • Understanding and promoting Ricoh's support functions and offerings.
  • Managing own schedule and assisting others with multiple solutions.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and Ricoh personnel.


Workload Management:

  • Executing workload management and call handling procedures effectively.
  • Providing a full range of services including customer training, equipment observation, and solution presentations.


Administrative:

  • Meeting response times, repair times, quality objectives, and cost control metrics.
  • Complying with company policies and completing administrative tasks accurately and timely.
  • Maintaining required logs, processes, reports, and inventory.


Results:

  • Achieving expected productivity levels and participating in Ricoh Extra Value program opportunities.


Qualifications:


  • Valid state driver's license and auto insurance coverage.
  • High school diploma.
  • Knowledge in computers, electronics, mechanics, basic network, connectivity, and printing software.
  • Certification as per Ricoh's Technology Services Training Role Inventory and Certification Program.
