Job Description:

Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer.  As a cybersecurity engineer, this role will work as part of a multi-disciplinary secure dev ops team to develop system security plans (SSPs), design engagement requests (DERs), data flow and system diagrams, and perform regular recurring vulnerability and compliance enforcement tasks such as reviewing alerts and logs, adjusting suppression rules and scanning profiles to meet the needs of the environment owners and CIO, and generating vulnerability and compliance reports to present to environment owners and management. This role will work with architecture and software teams to deploy and maintain cybersecurity controls and monitoring agents and respond quickly to mitigate high-priority vulnerabilities.

High priority:

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Inspector.


• Experience generating environment/product system diagrams and data flow diagrams.


• Ability to break down and deploy security controls in environments as per QTC/Leidos policy and federal standards (ISO 27001, NIST 800-171).


• Ability to document an environment’s security controls based on documentation and environment access.

 

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience administering Azure environments/instances, Windows Defender.


• Experience with command-line Linux server administration.


• Formal cybersecurity experience (vulnerability management, compliance) or certifications (CISSP, etc).


• Experience with HIPAA compliance.


• Experience with TrendMicro CloudOne cybersecurity suite.


• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and agile workflow management.

 

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses) 

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience


• 9+ years in a cyber or related role.

 

Pay and Benefits:

Salary range (level 4)  $130,000 - $156,000

Other levels may be considered, and then include something like this in the pay range area:

The hourly ranges for each level are as follows:

Level 3 - 5+ years of experience:  $105,000 - $124,000

Level 5 - 14+ years of experience:  $155,000 - $184,000
