Role Overview: As an Electrical Engineer Senior, you will be part of a diverse, technical team working on the design of next-generation satellite technologies and components. Your responsibilities will span a broad range of electrical engineering activities, including FPGA design, board-level circuits, and command and data handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the FPGA team to enhance established designs and develop new FPGA designs.
Focus on FPGA design tasks, utilizing Verilog and simulation tools.
Work closely with electrical engineering basics, including board-level design and circuits.
Handle command and data functions related to FPGA systems.
Communicate effectively with team members, engineering leaders, and internal/external customers.
Use Altium Design (or equivalent) for schematic capture or PCB layout.
Design digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronics technologies.
Ensure designs meet industry standards (e.g., EMI/EMC).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering.
7+ years of electrical engineering design experience (5+ years with an MSEE).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with FPGA design, Altium, and digital/analog electronics.
Experience designing for harsh or mission-critical environments.
