Job Description:

Location: Philadelphia - hybrid on site is a must


We are seeking a skilled .NET Software Engineer proficient in ASP.NET, SQL, and MVC frameworks to join our dynamic team. As a .NET Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.


Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, SQL, and MVC frameworks.


2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.


3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.


4. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design.


5. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.


6. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to technical problems.


7. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.


8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the software development industry.


9. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on technical issues.


10. Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


2. Proven experience as a .NET Software Engineer or similar role.


3. Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, SQL, and MVC frameworks.


4. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.


5. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.


6. Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
