Job Description:

Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI) is a historic commercial building restoration contractor that self performs a majority of our work. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong background in construction project management, excellent leadership skills, and an understanding of construction practices. This is a full time position. This is not a remote or hybrid position. .

Position Summary



Position Summary


  • Develop procedures for construction based on a thorough review of project specifications, the project schedule, and staffing requirements.

  • Performs project cost estimates, including labor and material take-offs, to develop project budgets.

  • Assembles work schedules and production reports based on scope of work.

  • Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.

  • Management of overall project costing and budgeting.

  • Preparation and administration of project schedules.

  • Preparing and processing project submittals and close out documents

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work and compliance with contract documents and safety regulations.

  • Identify and resolve project-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred is preferred but not required.

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and information processes, building materials, architectural drawings, and specifications

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.



  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the use of Microsoft excel, word, outlook, and project

  • Ability to multi task and manage several projects of various sizes

  • Valid driver's license for travel between job sites and office

  • Ability to pass state and federal background checks for access onto secure job sites
