Responsibilities

3rd Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday through Friday

Starting Pay $21.38/hr (HR130)

Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania plant for a Production Technician in Printed Circuit Boards. The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:

  • Assemble and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Install wires, leads and a variety of thru-hole components. Solder components and leads
  • May be required to pick parts from the warehouse
  • Troubleshoot minor assembly problems
  • Perform visual inspection, minor repairs and rework
  • Perform basic calibration using existing test setups or procedures. Use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments
  • Set up automated assembly machines, making necessary machine adjustments for start up and operation
  • Transfer finished boards and sub-assemblies to appropriate work area
  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
  • Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
  • Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
Ability to:
  • Identify various electronic components.
  • Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
  • Understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
  • Perform standard software operations including SAP.
  • Infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Use power and hand tools.
  • Concentrate for prolonged periods of time and regularly perform work that requires magnification.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 months manufacturing or other related experience

Experience Preferred:

  • Past soldering experience
