Now hiring for a Wave Solder Operator in the City of Gardena!



As a Wave Solder Operator, you will:

• Perform preventive maintenance and operation of wave soldering equipment.
• Prepares boards for machine soldering operation, cleans boards, and masks designated areas. Inspect PCBs for defects.
• Responsible for the set-up and operation of wave soldering machine used in soldering of PCB under limited supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance of wave soldering equipment including de-drossing according to ****Services procedures.
• Check circuit boards in process for missing solder, solder bridges, missing parts, and lifted parts

Requirements

• Familiar with setup and operations of the Wave soldering machine processes.
• Experience in water-soluble, no-clean, and lead-free solder applications in processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance of wave soldering equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions and procedures.
• Good communication skills
• Experience in contract manufacturing.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitie

Job Type: Full-time

Shift & Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS


Familiarity with most tools and equipment in a machine shop, including Lathes, Grinders, Saws, Debarring Equipment, Various Measuring Tools, Must be able to read and write in English.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
