Our Client Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the Strategic Energy Plans for clients of Schneider Electric.

What do you get to do in this position?


  • Develop client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned group of clients

  • Be a subject matter expert for client's business operations, key contacts and their respective roles.

  • Create, plan, and successfully execute a strategic energy plan and manage against it, including determined key performance indicators, with an internal team

  • Coordinate client meetings using internal resources when appropriate, prepare materials for meeting(s), and present to all levels of the client's organization

  • Collaborate with various internal groups (ex. sales teams) to introduce Schneider Electric's capabilities to assigned clients and identify potential solutions to be offered

  • Learn and effectively use Schneider Electric's proprietary databases designed to assist in managing the client's energy program

  • Identify opportunities for additional energy management services, and own negotiations and client contract renewals

  • Travel up to 15%

This job might be for you if:


  • Bachelor's degree required, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a service industry with some direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience

  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally

  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • High commitment to the company's vision and values

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Good professional reputation; commitment to personal integrity and strong character

  • Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks to internal team members, and collaborate with multiple departments within an organization

  • Prior energy industry experience preferred but not required

  • Basic knowledge of energy industry or Sustainability reporting and be able to communicate them to various parties a plus

  • Advanced computer proficiency, specificially Excel experience required
