Nucor Warehouse Systems is hiring an experienced GL Accountant. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their knowledge in general ledger accounting, month-end closing, internal control processes, problem solving and root cause analysis. In addition, the candidate should be well versed in generally accepted accounting principles, Sarbanes-Oxley, as well as manufacturing accounting and ERP use. This is an onsite role in Vernon, CA.
Assisting with journal entries
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Assisting team with audit preparations.
Contributing to the development of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Performing other accounting duties as required or assigned.
Organize and update financial records.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations; month-end closing.
Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
ERP experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Dynamics experience, a plus.
