Regional Sales Representative - TX at Nucor Corporation in Monroe, Georgia

Job Description:

Basic Job Functions:

• Commitment to increasing Nucor Warehouse Systems Sales and Profit


• Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, and scope of work


• Develop strategic plans to enhance client relationships, increase profit, and achieve sales targets


• Regularly report on sales activities, progress targets, and account performance


• Commitment to acquiring new Distribution accounts


• Ability to assist Distributors in layout and take-offs.


• Commitment to increasing sales in Territory.


• Educate and train customers on Nucor Warehouse Systems


• Prepare quotes containing BOM, pricing, and lead times.


• Build strong working relationships with customers and sales teammates


• Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose custom pallet racking that meet or exceed client needs


• Be a key team member able to interface with all inter-company departments


• Travel to meet customers and to project sites, as required.


• Able to travel to industry events as needed.


• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 3 to 5 years of racking sales experience.


• Basic understanding of racking and platform engineering requirements preferred.


• A solid understanding of the Material Handling Industry.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 proficiency
