Responsibilities

• Receive, process, check merchandise, and verify the correctness of the shipments against the purchase order.
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Record shipment data, including weight and dimensions.
• Receive and unpack materials/supplies.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
• Set up laptops, workstations, and tablets for imaging. Repackage computers into original boxes.
• Break down excess packaging material and sorts for disposal (recycling or trash).
• Prepare shipments for return to vendors or delivery to recipient.
• Performs inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
• Operates motor vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Responsible for utilization of computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry, identification, and tracking of material.
• Assists in the material handling of assets during the integration phase of the RIIKS process.
• Assists in the receiving of assets into the CMPro database for inventory purposes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
