Job Description:

Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Product Supply Team.




Overview of the Position:



RSCS is accountable for ensuring supply continuity for the +$7B in critical Yum! Brand food and packaging components which support 21,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill and A&W in the United States.


This position owns the gathering, analysis and interpretation of data related to supply chain operations within the company. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data and creating supply chain performance metrics dashboards including inventory, freight and transportation costs, warehouse and manufacturing efficiency, planning, and forecasting.


The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making within our supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, logistics, procurement, freight management, forecasting and demand and supply planning.



Essential Functions:



• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track key metrics related to inventory levels, supplier


performance, transportation costs, and overall supply chain performance.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and logistics, to gather data and


insights for analysis.


• Utilize statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities


for improvement within the supply chain.


• Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors contributing to supply chain issues and develop


actionable recommendations for improvement.


• Implement data-driven solutions to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize supply chain


disruptions.


• Ensure that project management tasks are aligned within all current business operations teams.


• The ability to work successfully inside the project management team, ensuring the successful transition and


implementation of the Next Generation Distribution and Logistics model.


• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain analytics and


incorporate them into our processes.


• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through


presentations, reports, and data visualizations.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing analytical support and insights to cross-functional


teams.


• Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures


• Interface with all levels of management


• Other duties as assigned by management.



Required Experience, Education, and Skills:



• Bachelor's degree required in supply chain management, operations research, statistics, engineering, or a


related field.


• Prefer MBA, APICS CPIM certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or ISM CPSM certification.


• Prefer minimum 5 years domain knowledge in the Supply Chain Distribution Solutions space.


• Proven experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis or related field.


• Knowledge of supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to


non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on continuous improvement.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


• Prefer direct knowledge and experience within a food supply chain organization.


• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.


• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.


• Prefer experience with ERP (Netsuite), Planning (Blue Yonder/JDA), Network design software (Llamasoft or


similar)
