BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration
4 - 6 years of directly related experience in standard cost systems, month-end closing, manufacturing accounting and Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance. Strong manufacturing costing background preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Excel: creating and updating spreadsheets and formulas, VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, etc.
Understanding of inventory systems, cost accounting, financial reporting budgeting, forecasting and manufacturing systems from a cost perspective preferred
Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing environment

Prepare, process, audit, and distribute a variety of daily reports such as production activity, sales/invoicing, orders/backlog, inventory, payroll, receivables, and indirect spending
Perform financial analysis and summarize/communicate results in a meaningful matter
Maintain required financial records in an accurate and timely manner as applicable
Prepare regularly scheduled reports to Corporate, Business Unit and various governmental agencies.
Reconcile general ledger / Payroll / Inventory accounts monthly as required
Prepare weekly / monthly financial analysis to support business decisions
Produce or assist in producing accurate and timely internal/external financial reporting
If assigned to payroll, coordinate or assist in maintenance of payroll records, timecards, payroll distribution, preparation of W-2 forms, vacation/sick pay accruals and Social Security reports
Assist with other schedules/reporting in order to complete monthly Business Unit requirements
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and a variety of support functions
Perform special projects or other duties as assigned or requested
Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis
Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required
