What we do: 

Responsible for the development and delivery of services and products to their respective clients. Areas of responsibility include delivering high-quality client and account services; providing securities custody, funds transfer, and other support services; receiving, processing, and distributing new and previously circulated currency; providing lending and collateral services; planning and executing open market operations; clearing and settling financial transactions; evaluating and promoting the overall safety and soundness of the supervised institutions.

Responsible for receiving, processing, and distributing new and previously circulated currency and coin to depository institutions to meet public demand for legal tender. Activities also include accepting unfit and excess cash from depository institutions, government agencies and others, destroying unfit currency, and distributing new or fit currency both domestically and internationally.

This position is onsite overnight.

Your role as Currency Services Operations Lead:

• Leads, directs, and reviews the work of team members in order to accomplish operational plans and results.


• Assure high performance, high productivity, efficiency, and strong governance.


• Train, develop and oversee the daily performance of assigned team members.


• Faces problems that are difficult and sometimes complex.


• Maintain strong controls, risk mitigation and compliance in a heavily regulated environment.


• Tactical (50%) – focused on the plans to achieve goals and objectives – the “how”, Transactional (50%) – carries out defined steps or processes.


• Set clear and consistent performance expectations and providing clear and actionable feedback.


• Well versed in Board of Governors, Treasury and System guidelines and procedures.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to coordinate work in dynamic processing environment.


• Compile and monitor metrics to ensure operational performance and control objectives meet a high standard.


• Detailed understanding of the complex currency processing equipment.


• 3+ years of demonstrated or proven ability in the operation or similar field. 

Salary Range: $89,000 - $100,000 / year
