Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Executive, Wireless:

VIAVI Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded sales professional, to join the VIAVI Wireless Account Team as a Domain Sales/Solutions Expert.  This is a remote position, and the candidate must have the ability and willingness to travel 35%-70% as needed.

Summary/Objectives:

Prospect and help grow business within the wireless service provider account team with focus on the wireless business sector.  Account development is critical in this role and a successful candidate must be able to maintain and advance key executive relationships.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for account development within the Wireless Business Sector, including but not limited to: 

  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships

  • Develop and maintain Strategic Account Plan

  • Participate in internal Business Unit reviews to guide roadmap development

  • Interface and coordinate strategic efforts within the Wireless Account Sales Team, both Field and Lab

  • Regular interaction with VIAVI Product Line Managers and Directors

  • Align VIAVI with long term wireless account growth initiatives

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering degree preferred)

  • 15+ years of Account Management (wireless experience preferred)

  • 10+ years of experience selling into Wireless providers

  • 10+ years of business development, experience working with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Candidate must be comfortable operating in a large account operating with cross-functional team members.
