Responsibilities

At EFW, our Finance and Accounting department is a vital part of our organization. This internship program is an opportunity for undergraduates to contribute to EFW’s mission while developing valuable professional skills. The ideal candidate will learn the industry through the lens of EFW. As part of the internship, EFW will provide learning experiences throughout the organization so that the intern truly understands Tradeshow transportation and logistics.

-June 17 to August 16, 2024

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to special projects in support of accounting initiatives.

  • Support the accounting department leadership with administrative duties, such as reports and documentation.

  • Distribute incoming mail, including truck mail from Estes Express and/or our stations throughout the country for the Accounting department.

  • Perform various administrative duties in support of the Accounting department, such as remittance contact for check/ACH payments, phone support

  • Log and/or file expense report copies that have been sent to corporate accounting for processing.

  • Prepare weekly checks for mailing.

  • Print, scan, and send invoices for Accounts Payable and Discrepancy Team as needed.

  • Copy approved expense reports.

  • Restock supply cabinet.

  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.

  • Regular attendance is required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. A rising junior or senior in a 4-year college degree program (Business and/or Logistics preferred). A history of achievement and aptitude demonstrated by a 3.0 GPA, and/or other recognition such as scholarships, awards, and honor societies. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
