Job Summary:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), in the skilled trades industry, you will be a key member of our Executive Leadership Team. Pro Services is a leading company specializing in delivering high-quality skilled trades solutions to a diverse client base.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and strategy of our organization. Responsible for managing the financial activities, developing financial plans, and ensuring the fiscal sustainability of Pro Services. Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning will be essential in guiding our company towards sustainable growth and profitability.

This position will include the responsibility of the CSO (Chief Strategic Officer); CTO (Chief Technology Officer. Responsible for overseeing our technology journey starting with standardizing core products, working with our outside technology group and moving toward a fully integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP). Managing and scaling the technology infrastructure, including servers, databases, networks, and cloud services, to support the company growth and operational needs.

Duties:
  • Responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and long-term success. You will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization, identifying opportunities for expansion, and ensuring that Pro Services remains competitive
  • Evaluate financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and provides recommendations for optimization.
  • Monitor budget performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure financial targets are met. Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives. Optimize working capital and manage capital raises as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive financial awareness and accountability across the organization. Provide financial insights to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
  • Lead implementation of ESOP
  • Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
  • Managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, including negotiating contracts and evaluating third-party solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, IT or related field is required or 8+ years in a senior finance. CPA is strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, or partnership negotiations.
  • Familiarity with technology trends and their application
  • Lead change management and implementation of technology projects
