A shop hourly position with primary responsibilities of coordinating, preparing and spraying parts to ensure product is properly covered with Baltibond product.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Owns personal. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
Operate equipment in a manner that maximizes productivity and quality.
Understand departmental metrics and communicate / interpret for junior mechanics
Accurately complete paperwork or online data entry required by department.
Document processes for knowledge capture and the training of junior mechanics.
Maintains and sustain 5S standards in the department.
Perform other duties as assigned by plant leadership.
Contribute to departmental safety improvements.
Ensure individual activities embrace sustainability, reduce the impact on the environment, minimize waste, maximize recycling, minimize energy and water usage.
Establish and maintain good working relations with co-workers.
Perform all primary job functions including but not limited to spraying, loading, offloading, startup, shut down.
Perform all quality assurance test required by engineering and make corrections on any out of spec conditions, titration, coating, impact, cross hatch, cure oven.
Prepare and maintain daily inspection sheets, work, and time logs.
Knowledge of and meets quality standards on a consistent basis.
Meets or exceed production goals for shift.
Will be required to flex to other duties as requested.
