ID&E Associate Manager – Data & Insights at Best Buy in Richfield, Minnesota

Job Description:

As the Associate Manager for ID&E – Data & Insights, you will leverage enterprise measurement solutions to gather data and insights to facilitate decision making and evaluate the impact of ID&E across the enterprise. In this role you will support the development and execution of our ID&E strategies and priorities, ultimately contributing to a culture of belonging and an inclusive workplace at Best Buy.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

• Design and provide dashboards that incorporate data, analysis & insights on routine cadence to leaders across the enterprise. Make recommendations for continuous improvements.


• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.


• Responsible for end-to-end partnership, planning, coordination & execution of ID&E related external surveys, including rankings, lists, benchmarking, and awards.


• Share out survey results, benchmarking and feedback with internal stakeholders.


• Consult with internal partners as they develop and execute measurement strategy and practices. Integrate evaluation into the formation of ID&E initiatives.

• 3 years experience managing multiple projects, deadlines and/or programs.


• 2 years of experience pulling data and telling a story amplifying the information.


• 2 year experience working with a variety of stakeholders.


• Experience creating best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.


• Must be comfortable using data analysis tools and technologies, data visualization tools, and presentation software, including Power BI, Powerpoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

• Deep understanding of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity and business operations.


• Experience working cross functionally and ability to influence without authority.


• Adept at presenting complex analytical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
