RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Greets and welcomes visitors upon arrival, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

  • Provides professional, efficient, and approachable support and excellent customer service to students, visitors, and Stevens Community members.

  • Accurately answers visitor questions regarding a wide variety of topics, including building, classroom, and office locations.

  • Reports any safety concerns to the attention of Student Affairs On-Call staff and/or Campus Police.

  • Reports urgent and non-urgent maintenance concerns.

  • Performs any other duties as may reasonably be required.

  • This position includes weekends and overnight hours.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Enrolled as a Stevens Graduate Student

  • Passionate about providing an outstanding experience for students and visitors.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak and connect with our students and visitors.

  • Must be responsible, flexible, punctual, and work well under pressure.

  • Previous Customer service experience is strongly preferred.

  • Be able to work with all students, staff, and faculty regardless of race, gender, and ethnicity tactfully, and ensure all guests have a great residential experience.
